Red Light Therapy
Is Red Light Therapy Safe?
Red light therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment for most people. During your consultation, we’ll review your health history and discuss any medical conditions or concerns to ensure it’s appropriate for you. Every patient is different, which is why we take the time to understand your health background and goals before making recommendations.
Do I need to do anything before my first appointment?
No special preparation is needed. We simply recommend drinking water and avoiding food for one hour before and after your session to help optimize your results.
What do I wear in the first session?
We’ll take body composition measurements during your first visit, so we recommend a two-piece bathing suit, undergarments, boxers, or shorts. This allows us to get the most accurate measurements possible. Most importantly, wear whatever you’re comfortable in.
How soon will I see results?
You’ll receive before-and-after measurements during your first visit, and many patients are surprised to see measurable changes after just one 15-minute session.
What happens after my first visit?
At the end of your first visit, we’ll review your results and discuss the options available to help you reach your goals. Since every patient’s goals are different, recommendations can vary from person to person.
Will I need more sessions after the first one?
For the long-lasting results most patients are looking for, multiple sessions are typically recommended. Every patient has different goals, so your program will be customized to your needs. During your consultation, we’ll review your goals and recommend the number of sessions most likely to help you achieve them.
Can I use my HSA?
Many patients use HSA funds toward their red light therapy plans. Coverage varies by provider, so we recommend contacting your HSA administrator to confirm eligibility.
Trigenics
What is Trigenics?
Trigenics is a hands-on technique that resets communication between the brain and the body. It restores normal joint, length, and strength function quickly so you can feel better in minutes, not weeks.
Why would I do Trigenics?
Trigenics is a good option for patients who have had trouble getting results from injections, therapy, or pain medication. It can also be useful for patients who want to avoid surgery or have post-surgical limitations. It provides the body with immediate control of unbalanced muscles so you can recover faster.
Am I a candidate for Trigenics?
Trigenics testing is performed before any treatment. If the results show that a patient has significantly short or weak muscles, Trigenics can be very helpful. If the muscle tests are normal, it is unlikely that Trigenics will help that patient.
How fast does Trigenics work?
Trigenics can start working within minutes. Once the brain receives the correct input, the muscles can resume normal function. This is how patients may recover quickly from knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain.
Does stretching and exercise do the same thing as Trigenics?
No. The biggest difference is that Trigenics is a neurological technique. The communication with the brain is not meant to make the muscle longer or stronger. Instead, it teaches the brain what is normal for that muscle. This is why training muscles that are inhibited can sometimes make the condition worse. Trigenics can quickly restore normal function so stretching, strengthening, and exercise can be more effective.
